Bahrain: Elections come to the Gulf

NCF CONFERENCE: This event takes place at a crucial time with the upcoming Bahrain elections occurring in November 2022. The question remains whether they will be fair, considering the unequal distribution of powers and the banning of opposition political parties. This event takes place on Day 6 of the Next Century Foundation’s 2022 Healing the Nations conference, a day which looks at political crises within borders. Key speakers will include Ali Alaswad, former Bahrain MP and leading member of opposition group Al Wefaq and William Morris, Secretary-General, The Next Century Foundation.
