The Next Century Foundation’s Research Officer, Shamsa Hussain submitted an oral intervention at the 46th Session of the UNHCR on Iran. It asked Iran to restate the fatwa on the Supreme Leader of Iran’s website, in which he states the damaging impact to humanity, of the production and stockpiling of chemical and nuclear weapons of mass destruction. He further, that the use of these weapons is forbidden. The NCF also urges the USA to return to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action without further precondition.
