UN 46th Session NCF Statement on Islamic Republic of Iran by Francis Walsh

The ‘maximum pressure’ policy imposed by the United States of America on the Islamic Republic of Iran has been counter-productive in curtailing the Islamic Republic of Iran’s nuclear program. It has also caused a lot of anguish for many ordinary Iranian people. The United States has now decided to change tack and support the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) with the Islamic Republic of Iran that it had negotiated in the first place.
